Sheikh Lawyer Khudairi Ali Al-Sannah Al-Jumaili is a prominent legal and religious figure from Salah al-Din Province in Iraq. He was born in the village of Al-Jameela in the Al-Shirqat district in 1941. He completed his primary education in Al-Shirqat, then moved to Mosul for his secondary education, and graduated from the College of Law at the University of Baghdad in 1976.
He began his professional life in financial administration, serving as the financial director in both Al-Shirqat and Al-Hamdaniya. In 1978, he was appointed as an investigative judge in Sinjar, but he declined the position, citing concerns about his ability to ensure justice. That same year, he founded the Lawyers’ Syndicate in Al-Shirqat and became its first president. He dedicated himself fully to the legal profession, specializing in criminal law.
Sheikh Khudairi was known for his integrity and dedication to justice. He would refuse to represent defendants unless he was convinced of their innocence. He did not set fixed legal fees, instead asking clients to pay what they could afford. He was also active in Islamic preaching, giving numerous religious lectures and organizing seminars at the Al-Shirqat Secondary School auditorium.
He was admired for his generosity and humility, always eager to help others and fulfill their needs. This made him deeply loved among the people of Al-Shirqat. He often repeated the saying: “If you can’t raise your family’s reputation, at least don’t tarnish it,” emphasizing the importance of preserving family honor.
Sheikh Khudairi Al-Jumaili is regarded as a role model of integrity and legal commitment, with a lasting influence on his community through both his legal and religious work.
